Patricia Garry, Executive Director, has been involved in community development since the 1970's! As a member of the Bond Hill Community Council, she was one of the founders of the Bond Hill-Paddock Hills Community Urban Redevelopment Corporation in 1974. In 1978 she became the second executive director of the CURC and in 1979 was on of the co-founders of the CDC Association (known then as the Neighborhood Development Association). She became a consultant in 1981, helping to create the Eastside CURC in Covington, KY. In 1984 she became a full time consultant in 1984, as she simultaneously worked toward her degree in Community Planning and Development at The Union Institute. In 1988 she served as Interim Director of the Lower Price Hill CURC, having been on that board for several years. She became Executive Director of the CDC Association in early 2003. She has served on several Boards and committees since then, including the Walnut Hills Redevelopment Foundation, and Walnut Court.
