We are holding a LISC Brown Bag Seminar on the many different types of green flooring materials: carpet squares, cork, marmoleum, bamboo, palmwood, various types of LED lighting, and solar installations at the Green Depot, 1235 Vine Street, presented by Green City EcoStruction, with Brian Garry.

This will be a great chance to ask all the questions you have about green and sustainable building materials and housing products - about which products are best for which installations, what makes the most economic sense in various situations, which are the greenest - you'll be able to see samples and really contrast and compare these products.

On-street metered parking is available, paid parking lot at the corner of 12th and Vine, free neighborhood lot 2 doors before 1235 on the west side of Vine. As always, snacks and water will be available. Come with your questions and ideas! Sponsored by LISC, the City of Cincinnati and the CDC Association.

I learned alot, but not enough,
I learned alot about different ways to conserve or upgrade to sustainable. Energy Auditor was very helpful in this aspect. However first (general) presentation was somewhat slow. Meeting place was cold. Presenters / Salesmen of LED lighting were exciting and I can't wait for it to become affordable to normal people. Practical info from Energy Auditor was probably the most useful to me.
